Life lessons learned from my furry and feathered charges

The Magnificent Apollo

1995 - 2008

Although walking, among other things, became more difficult as Apollo moved into his later years, he always perked up when he saw his leash and would happily accept assistance to make the journey outside so he could enjoy resting in the grass and getting some sunshine and fresh air. Just like a puppy – he would wag his tail and with a hopeful and expectant gaze – ask for a treat when we’d get back into the house.

Life Lesson: Enjoy each day, welcome a loving pat and kind loving words. Get outside often and enjoy what each moment has to offer.
